Account Manager/Meeting Planner

SUMMARY
This position will be expected to fulfill all aspects of event planning while working as a liaison between colleagues, clients and vendors. The position demands a high-energy, creative person that exercises both open and clear written and verbal communication skills. Needed are exceptional organizational skills and the ability to work in a highly demanding environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Efficient in all aspects of event planning, including, but not limited to, budget management, theme design, F&B selection, venue selection, and vendor selection.
  • Handle all paperwork relative to event management, including, but not limited to, venue contracts, vendor agreements, deposits, and billing processes
  • Coordinate on-site management, including, but not limited to, staffing and vendor deliveries and pick-ups
  • Perform a variety of office and or administrative tasks
  • Ability to communicate openly, clearly and efficiently to a wide range of demographics
  • Possess highly organized and detail oriented abilities in a fast-paced work environment
  • Fulfill client and vendor requests in a timely manner
  • Travel, both within the US and internationally, several times a year

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor Degree from an accredited University
  • 3-5 years of meeting planning experience
  • Organized and detail oriented person who can work in a fast-paced environment and fulfill client and vendor requests in a timely manner
  • High level of customer service and relationship building skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
  • International travel is required, possession of a valid US passport is necessary
